YFValue — a DeFi yield aggregator — has launched value vaults with the goal of minimizing user costs while maximizing gains for depositors, according to an announcement on Tuesday, September 22.
Yield farming vaults gained mass attention when DeFi giant Yearn.finance and CEO Andre Cronje launched delegated vaults. Initially value vaults were meant to improve on Cronje's original design, but the rise of staking liquidity provider tokens following SushiSwap caused developers to change course.
Inspired by the new type of staking, value vaults are designed with a flexible ratio and multiple controllers, so farming SUSHI and UNI will be possible using single-asset fund vaults. Value vaults will be released in three phases with stage one — public beta — beginning today.
