Diginex, the blockchain financial services firm, and the United Nations-led International Organization for Migration (IOM) have launched a blockchain tool that looks to prevent the exploitation of migrant workers in Hong Kong.
Diginex released a press release on Monday detailing the how the tool was developed to be used by about 1,500 Hong Kong-based migrant domestic worker recruitment agencies and associated agencies in worker-sending countries. The system will be called the International Recruitment Integrity System Self-Assessment for Ethical Recruitment (IRIS-SAFER).
