Bitcoin's hash rate has recovered previous highs pushing above 150 hashes per second despite the recent 11.35% in mining difficulty, data from CoinMetrics shows.

Last week Bitcoin difficulty underwent its third largest increase in the last two years, an event which could have caused smaller miners to close up shop. If that had happened Bitcoin's hash rate would have slowed, but miners seemed to have absorbed the difficulty increase with little trouble.
