Kraken the United States-based cryptocurrency exchange is being sued by a former employee who claims he was fired unfairly after sharing his concerns about some of the company‘s practices.

Nathan Runyon is a former marine who worked as a financial analyst for Kraken. Runyon who reported to Kaiser Ng, Kraken’s chief financial officer, came across “numerous questionable business tactics that Ng condoned or was responsible for.” Runyon claims to have raised concerns multiple times but was ignored.

Runyon states that the company earned money from sanctioned nations and companies on the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s Specially Designated Nationals And Blocked Persons List.
