The VeChain Foundation was hacked little over a week ago and had over 1.1 billion of their VET tokens stolen, Howevery, yesterday the company was able to locate and freeze $6.1 million worth of funds stolen by the thief.
VeChain utilized cryptocurrency data analysis tools to compile a list of hundreds of wallets that have received stolen funds from the hack. VeChain was able to contact all Authority Masternodes who voted to freeze the accounts. VeChain so far has stopped 469 addresses owned by the thief, which has frozen around 727 million VETs.
