EOSIO, the firm behind the EOS blockchain and token, has suggested a key change to the network’s resource allocation system that would make users rent network resources.

The firm announced in a blog post that this change would be a way to avoid network congestion that is caused by the inability to employ unused Central Processing Unit (CPU) time and bandwidth (NET) resources because users own them.
