Initial exchange offerings (IEOs) that launched in 2019 have lost investors up to 98% of their money, according to a report from the analytics arm of exchange BitMEX, BitMEX Research.

The report identified 12 major IEOs that launched this year. 11 out of those 12 IEOs are now almost worthless compared to their original trading price, nine of which are down 80% or more. Matic, the Binance launched IEO, was the only one studied that showed an increase in trading price.
