According to sources from coindesk.com, Mauritius will soon start license crypto custodians as part of its plan to create an African financial technology center. The Financial Services Committee (FSC) said in a statement on Friday that the framework was finalized and will enter into force on March 1 after the draft rules were published in a consultation document in November 2018. According to the FSC, this move made Mauritius the “first jurisdiction globally to offer a regulated landscape for the custody of digital assets”.
