The IOTA Foundation has fixed an error that kept transactions from being confirmed on the IOTA network for 15 hours.

An IOTA developer stated in a GitHub submission that a bug in the node software created a "corrupt ledger state." The bug was first reported on Sunday and took approximately 15 hours to be fixed.

David Sønstebø said the error was “minor” and isn’t all that “different from periods where the network has been spammed and thus real tx [transactions] slowed down significantly".
