Michael Van De Poppe, the Amsterdam-based cryptocurrency trader, believes that 2020 could be the start of a positive trend for alternative cryptocurrencies that struggled throughout last year.
In a tweet on Tuesday Van De Poppe pointed to the fact that Ethereum (ETH) has historically rallied at the beginning of the year. Van De Poppe also stated that the dominance of altcoins usually bottoms in Q1. That means that Bitcoin could cede ground to smaller cryptocurrencies.
