Telegram in a recent public statement has emphasized that Telegram Open Network’s (TON) native cryptocurrency, the Gram, is not an investment product.

On Monday Telegram posted a blog that stressed that Grams should not be associated with the standards for profits based on purchase or holding of the token.

Telegram stated that Grams are designed as a “medium of exchange” and Users “should Not expect any profits based on your purchase or holding of Grams.”
