Bitcoin's On-Chain Transfer Volume Hits New Highs As Currency Surpasses $12,000 Price Level

As Bitcoin has pushed past its resistance level at $12,000 the currency's on-chain transfer volume has exceeded four million, Glassnode data shows. 

Four million represents 22% of the Bitcoin total supply being transferred over the past 24 hours. In addition to the increased transfer volume, the number of addresses with non-zero balances and those holding at least 0.01 BTC has also reached new heights. 

At the time of writing Bitcoin is trading hands at $12,742 and is up 6.49%.
