According to the official announcement, Gate.io will support this upgrade and fork of Bitcoin Cash, which is expected to be around 2pm (UTC time) on November 15, 2020. Before the fork occurs, Gate.io will close the BCH deposit and withdrawal service and intercept user's BCH spot holdings as a candy snapshot; during the fork, trading will proceed normally, but severe market fluctuations may occur. Please adjust the pending orders in advance; after the fork is completed, Gate.io will open deposit and withdrawal services of Bitcoin Cash and Candy as soon as possible based on the network stability.
Gate.io has a unique replay protection mechanism, which can effectively prevent users from losing funds due to replay attacks. Platform users can complete this fork upgrade without any operations. Users outside the platform must recharge Bitcoin Cash to the Gate.io platform before the snapshot on November 15, 2020.
