The Financial Information Analysis Institute (FIU) of the South Korean Financial Commission announced that it would release a legislative notice for the implementation of the "Specific Financial Information Act" legislative amendments from November 3, Yonhap News reported on November 2.
The regulations, which will come into effect on March 25, 2021, will prohibit virtual asset service providers from trading anonymous coins and processing virtual assets with money laundering risks.
