Victims of an alleged cryptocurrency pyramid scheme in Thailand are taking their case to the country’s Department of Special Investigation (DSI), according to a report from the Bangkok Post.

The alleged pyramid scheme, named "Khung Nong Cryptocurrency Trading," has reportedly taken a total of 75 million baht or $2.5 million from around 20 victims. The trading platform allegedly promised returns of as high as 8% weekly. The scheme drew in victims from October 2018 to February 2018, until the operator abruptly stopped paying out dividends.
