TRON released an official announcement regarding the situation of the TRON network on November 2.
According to the announcement, during the 4.1 version upgrade, TRON's mainnet was attacked by a malicious contract at 06:14 (UTC+8) on November 2. This attack uses the authority granted to the contract developer. The attacker initiated malicious transactions and caused the super representative to suspend the production of blocks. After 08:29, the main network gradually resumed block production, and finally, the whole network returned to normal at 09:40. The data on the chain remains intact and user assets are absolutely safe.
