The TRON blockchain froze for two hours on Monday, November 2 after a hacker attempted to attack, but everything is back to normal, according to a Twitter thread from TRON CEO Justin Sun.

Sun outlined that the hack used the authority granted to the contract developer to initiate malicious transactions and caused the super representative to pause block production.

Sun stated that the TRON community reacted quickly, identifying the problem, fixing it and upgrading nodes. After 8:30AM this morning, block production resumed and the entire network returned to normal by 9:40AM. He added that data on the chain is intact and that user assets are safe.
