According to Coindesk, on the third-quarter earnings call today, Paypal executives say that Paypal's cryptocurrency products will expand rapidly in 2021. When talking about the central bank’s creation of a retail-oriented digital currency, PayPal CEO Dan Schulman emphasizes that the company is seeking to create “the most expansive and most compelling digital wallet in the world.” 

Schulman also believes PayPal will find many opportunities in a digital economy that includes digital identities, all-digital payments, and financial services.
