In order to support efforts of African entrepreneurs, Akon has finalized an agreement in Senegal to build a cryptocurrency-fueled city.

This city, which will be named Akon City, will run entirely on renewable energy and will be a real life version of Wakanda, a fictional nation from Marvel’s Black Panther series. Akon was given 2,000 acres of land by Macky Sall, the president of Senegal.
