The Commodities and Futures Trading Commission has proved a license modification for ErisX's clearing house, allowing the company to offer more trading products, according to a recent announcement.
The updated license means ErisX can clear products on other products beyond virtual currencies and crypto. The company could list futures or swaps from new crypto related contracts like hash rate futures or crypto indices. Additionally tokenized commodities like precious metals and diamonds could also be listed.
The CFTC amendment also means ErisX can begin offering services to third parties.
