Canadian tax officials are going to court to pressure crypto exchange Coinsquare to provide information on its clients, as reported by local outlet National Post

Court documents cited in the Post's report show that Canada's tax agency is asking a judge to force Toronto-based Coinsquare to hand over information and documents about the company's clients since the beginning of 2013.

Coinsquare is evaluating the CRA information request and considering its options, according to the report.

“Coinsquare maintains a robust customer verification process, and we understand our customers comply with all applicable Canadian laws relating to their cryptocurrency trading activities,” Coinsquare CEO Stacy Hoisak told the National Post.
