Joe Rogan Doesn't Trust Facebook's Libra Coin Or Cryptocurrency

Joe Rogan, the host of the incredibly popular podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience," stated in the latest episode that Libra coin and Cryptocurrency still make him nervous.

In the episode titled “#1414 – Mike Baker,” currently the number one podcast episode on Apple Podcast’s U.S. top charts, Rogan stated, "I just don’t totally understand how you can have so many of them. Like how many cryptocurrencies are there, and if you don’t have so many of them, well who’s to say when you can stop making them?”

Rogan’s problems with cryptocurrency don’t just stop there, as Rogan finds it worrisome that major companies are creating their own cryptocurrencies.

Rogan said, “Well, I get nervous when I hear about companies like Facebook that are thinking about starting their own cryptocurrency. I’m like whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you going to have your own money now?”

Rogan’s interviewee, ex-CIA covert operations officer and president of global intelligence and security firm Diligence Mike Baker, also showed concern over the decentralization of cryptocurrency. Baker stated that he didn’t understand how a system could operate without an authority in control or traditional forms of backing by a government or a commodity.
