Druckenmiller, a well-known hedge fund manager and billionaire, states in an interview with CNBC that he holds some bitcoins.

He explains: "If the gold bet works, then the Bitcoin (BTC-USD) bet will work better. As an asset class and store of value, Bitcoin has plenty of attraction not only for millennials but also for the West Coast tech-types. The attractiveness of Bitcoin is increasing its brand value every day."

He also added that his gold position is higher compared to Bitcoin. Bitpush previously reported that in June last year, Druckenmiller expressed no interest in Bitcoin and would not invest in it.
