Bakkt’s president, Adam White, during a panel hosted during the World Economic Forum, said Bakkt's consumer app will view digital assets as any form of value that is digital like Bitcoin, according to The Block Crypto; this also includes loyalty reward points and equity.
The Block reported that their firm's CEO, Mike Blandina, shows serious consumer offering. Blandida says the firm is very focused on building consumer app and merchant portal. It was noted that there has not been a "killer app" that has come to fruition, but there is a lot of developer interest.
