CEO of Telegram, Pavel Durov, argues that Apple's iCloud is now a surveillance tool, according to a post published on Jan. 21 on his offical Telegram channel. The news came out after Pres. Donald Trump blasted Apple for refusing informational access to criminal activity.
Durov claims Apply dropped full encryption backup of their device in the iCloud because the FBI complained that such features would harm investigators. Apple states they will still protect the "most sensitive user information." Telegram continues as a global fighter for privacy and remain opposing major tech giants like Facebook and Google.
