According to the official announcement, Advanced Blockchain Research and Development Lab, which established by the University of Wyoming (UW), will focus on Formal Verification, Smart Contracts, and Secure Hardware related to Realworld Blockchain Applications. Lab Director Steven Lupienb says that they are studying how Near Field Communication (NFC) interacts with real-world blockchain, and they will cooperate with community colleges and K-12 schools. After doing so, the lab's expertise in blockchain will attract more practical business and talents to Wyoming.
