SWTCH Energy Inc., a leading provider of electric vehicle charging and energy management solutions, and Opus One Solutions, a leading developer of interactive and distributed energy management software, announced their cooperation. The two companies will cooperate to achieve an Electric Vehicle (EV) platform based on blockchain technology to reduce the transaction cost of electric vehicle charging and improve efficiency.
Through cooperation, SWTCH and Opus will use two-way charging technology and blockchain technology to integrate an interactive energy network and use electric vehicles as Distributed Energy (DER) assets. The blockchain-based management platform will first be displayed in Toronto, and then expands to all over Canada and other countries.
