According to The Block, Axelar protocol, a blockchain connection protocol developed by team members of Algorand blockchain, receives $3.75 million in seed round financing. Binance X, DCVC, AngelList and other VC invest in this round.
The protocol acts as a "translator" between independent blockchains. It aims to seamlessly connect all blockchain ecosystems in different languages, which means that dApp developers do not need to rewrite their App to integrate from one network to another. Axelar co-founder and CEO Sergey Gorbunov says that Axelar creates a unified method for developers to communicate with the entire ecosystem.
