A cryptocurrency mine in Butte, Montana was shut down for two months because the majority owner was charged on investment fraud (NBC Montana). Kevin Washington and Rick Tabish went to court to have a receiver appointed in order to run the company. 

The power was turned back on and more than 35,000 servers came back to life. Tabish shares that he negotiated a contract at a lower priced power, he and Washington are looking to raise $45 million to buy more productive servers.
