Senators Boyle and Carlucci proposed two bills to limit hacks, the plan is to stop government from utilizing the city's budget and tax revenue to pay for ransomware (Coinfomania). 

The bills will slow hackers spread of ransomware for public and private systems, the viruses usually encrypt data and demand a ransom payment of cryptocurrencies.
