The municipality of Zermatt, the home of the iconic Matterhorn, will now allow taxpayers to pay their taxes in Bitcoin (BTC).
Zermatt becomes the second location in Switzerland to officially allow BTC payments for taxes. In order to make BTC payments an option the authorities of Zermatt have partnered with Switzerland’s major crypto financial services company Bitcoin Suisse.
