Nervos Network, a multi-asset, PoW Blockchain, announced it's launching a native token standard SUDT on the main network Lina, which is similar to the ERC-20 standard of Ethereum.
SUDT allows any developer or Dapp building on Nervos to launch tokenized assets on CKB. Nervos stated that its SUDT provides some key advantages over the ERC-20 standard, such as having minimal interfaces and logic, compatibility with all locked scripts, and issuing tokens on SUDT at a lower cost than ERC-20. Cipher Wang, head of product at Nervos, said in an interview with Decrypt: "SUDT is designed to compete with Ethereum’s ERC-20, especially in DeFi use cases".
