Cryptocurrencies Sale On Darknet Grew By 70% In 2019

Total cryptocurrency darknet market sales grew 70% last year and surpassed $600 million (AMB crypto). P2P exchanges contributed 38.6% of funds to darknet markets followed by Exchanges responsible for 31.8% of funds; the transactions were with BCH, LTC, and USDT. 

The surge in the darknet took place despite crackdowns on regulations to close darknet markets. Due to multiple markets ready to serve customers, data showed increase revenue were driven by multiple purchases and not larger ones.
