Channel 2 of China Central Television (CCTV-2 for short), a Chinese free-to-air television channel broadcasting programs on the economy and life services, reported that as of the afternoon of November 17 (UTC), Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency with the highest market value, has broken through the $17,000 threshold to a high point at $17,534, setting a new high this year (2020).
It's worth noting that that price has made it the highest level since December 2017. Since entering the fourth quarter of 2020, Bitcoin has ushered in its spring and entered a brand-new round of market performance, with its price skyrocketing by roughly up to 70% in less than 50 days.
