The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) partnered up with the  Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Dubai Healthcare City and other relevant authorities to develop a blockchain-based health data storage platform, according to a report from The Emirates News Agency on Feb. 2.

The blockchain based platform is designed to increase the efficiency of MoHAP and other health authorities' smart health services. These smart health services ease the process of finding health facilities and their licensed medical and technical personnel, as well as inquire about medicine supply chains.
