BlockFi, a major player in the crypto borrowing and lending sector, announced that it will launch Visa credit cards in the United States next year. BlockFi will provide a 1.5% Bitcoin cashback for each transaction. The card has an annual fee of $200, and consuming $3,000 in the first three months can earn $250 in Bitcoin cashback. BlockFi founder and CEO Zac Prince told The Block: "It's the first credit card in the crypto ecosystem, and the first time the bitcoin logo has been featured prominently on a physical card."
