Bitcoin Core Contributor Gloria Zhao Joins Brink To Shape The Bitcoin Mempool

Brink, a non-profit organization and Bitcoin R&D center, today announced its first Bitcoin developer Gloria Zhao. Gloria Zhao, who will graduate from the University of California at Berkeley, has been contributing to the Bitcoin Core project since March 2020. During this period, she completed more than 50 PR reviews, had 12 of her PRs merged, and hosted the Bitcoin Core PR Review Club. 

Gloria's fellowship is provided by the Human Rights Foundation and Square Crypto. She will start working full-time on the development of the open-source Bitcoin protocol from January 2021. Her first project is Package Mempool Acceptance which aimed at making all transactions more efficient and reliable.
