Due to a security breach, Altsbit, a small cryptocurrency exchange, will shut down its services as announced on their press release. On February 6, hackers managed to access the company's hot wallets overnight and stole "almost all" of the funds. The company will reimburse users to the best of their ability, according to cryptoglobe.

Altsbit users will need to apply to receive their partial refunds and warn users to be wary of Altsbit "employees” promising refunds. LulzSec, claims responsibility for the hack and threatens to go after other cryptocurrency exchanges.
