The UK has been considering putting regulations on cryptocurrency for a while, recently DAG Global, a UK start up, applied to be the first bank for cryptocurrency businesses, reports ambcrypto

The Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority have warned banks about the risks involved with the cryptocurrency market, although they have never discouraged banks from providing these services. The DAG Global efforts started around 2019 and has been in dialogue with UK regulators.
