Terraform Labs launched its synthetic assets protocol Mirror Protocol on Thursday, December 3.

The protocol allows investors outside the United States to participate in the U.S. equities markets. The synthetic assets protocol tracks the price of U.S. stocks, futures, exchange-traded funds, and other traditional assets.

The Mirror Protocol mints synthetic assets, called Mirrored assets (mAssets), that mirror real-world assets' price behavior. Mirror will launch a governance token, MIR, that earns fees from asset trades. mAssets are listed and traded on Uniswap and Terraswap decentralized exchanges.
