According to a report by TrustNodes, ICTSI, a worldwide port operator has joined IBM and Maersk’s blockchain transportation platform TradeLens. Connecting to TradeLens allows ICTSI's 31 terminals to obtain accurate cargo movement information before ships arrive.
The TradeLens ecosystem is based on IBM blockchain, It currently encompasses 175 organizations, extends to more than 10 shipping companies, and covers data from more than 600 ports and terminals. In addition, it has tracked 30 million container shipments, 1.5 billion incidents, and approximately 13 million public documents.
