Coinbase Commerce, Coinbase’s merchant payment solution company, will now include MakerDAO’s stablecoin Dai (DAI) as one of their supported payment methods.

According to an announcement from the company, merchants around the world using Coinbase Commerce’s solutions will now be able to accept Dai as a payment for goods and services. The integration opens up e-commerce giants such as Shopify and WooCommerce to DeFi and cryptocurrency payments. Dai joins Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash as the cryptocurrencies supported by Coinbase Commerce.
