1,200 new developers entered the crypto space in every month of 2020, according to a recent report from venture firm Electric Capital. 

Ethereum claimed most of the new developers with 20-30% of new developers contributing to Ethereum over other platforms, according to the report. There are now nearly as many developers in Ethereum as all other layer one solutions combined, excluding Bitcoin. 

Yearn is quickly becoming one fo the largest DeFi developer ecosystems on Etheruem. The report also noted that Polkadot and Cosmos are quickly building up strong developer communities.
