AAVE's official Twitter stated that the Aave Genesis team will release regular security reports on the Aave protocol and ecosystem. The report released today focused on the Aave Protocol v2 and the potential attack vectors that have been identified and fixed during the first day of the mainnet launch of V2. After the release of Aave protocol v2 last week, the proposal to upgrade Aave governance from v1 to v2 has been submitted to the community for discussion. In addition, Aave received a security warning notice from Josselin Feist, a security researcher at Bit of Bits: There is a possible attack vector in the Aave protocol v2, which may cause a smart contract denial of service attack on the protocol, which may affect the protocol. The problem has now been fixed.
