The pre-production environment for Cardano's native tokens and supporting documentation has been successfully launched. IOHK, the Cardano development team announced today.  

Today's launch is an important milestone for Cardano. Cardano's approach to tokenization is unique. The Cardano ledger will process tokenized assets locally without any custom code or smart contracts. IOHK stated that the tokenization strategy based on the Cardano ledger is superior to the ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards supported on the Ethereum blockchain.
