The number of active Ethereum addresses has increased from 158,039 on Jan. 1 to 379,249 on Dec. 10 marking a 140% increase, according to Skew data.
At the time of writing Ether is trading hands at $547 and is down 3.34%. The increased active addresses combined with the movement of Etheruem users from centralized exchanges to decentralized exchanges creates a liquidity opportunity for tokens within the ecosystem, Vinokourov from Bequant told CoinDesk.
