According to the public document, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) today released Form 1040--2020 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. It should be noted that one of the questions is: "At any time during 2020, did you receive, sell, send, exchange, or otherwise acquire any financial interest in any virtual currency?"

This question is set at the top of the form's homepage, directly below the personal identification column. Joey Ryan, the CFO of crypto accounting company Gilded, believed this means the IRS is highly concerned about crypto tax issues, maybe even more than someone expected.
