Space is adopting blockchain. The European Space Agency (ESA) is funding a new blockchain project to boost the mining industry. In a move to improve data transparency, the ESA with Hypervine co-funded satellite data and blockchain, reports Cointelegraph. 

The project intends to prevent accidents in the mining industry by providing a unified database of mining data. This project will improve environmental impact by cutting back carbon emissions from operational groups.
