Today a new long-term incentive process has been launched to encourage open source Ethereum developers to continue working, according to a recent announcement.

The site, opengrants.com, creates cancellable ETH payment streams which allows developers to know they will be paid if they produce good work while avoiding legal complications arising from offering ETH options or time-locked contracts.

When a payment stream is pointed at an open grant (payment splitter contract), a set of Ethereum developers can be incentivized for the long run. The new website allows the community to scale up incentive programs to pull a larger pool of developers into improving the network.
