Cover Protocol (COVER), a DeFi insurance project, announced the launch of a governance portal, where users can conduct governance by proposing improvement proposals and voting on Gauge. Specifically, community members can create topics on the Cover Protocol forum to make proposals, which can be discussed and voted on before uploading to Snapshot. After that, the proposal creator can contact team members and add it to snapshot.page as a core proposal. Or, community members can add if they have more than 10 COVER tokens. After the Snapshot vote is passed, the team will implement the decision 48 hours later. To govern through Gauge voting, community members can vote on the COVER shield mining rewards for the next period (about 7 days) on the governance portal.
